Therapy Breaks

(available from 1st October to 31st March)

If you are in need of rest and relaxation these may be for you.

They will include Bed & Breakfast and an Evening Meal, with an opportunity for peaceful relaxation built into the day.

Chrissi offers Reiki, Natural Healing, Indian Head Massage, Stress Management with relaxation, and Personal Colour Assessments. Other therapies can be arranged in advance with personally known local therapists. These can include Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and Homeopathy.

Therapy breaks are available at £49.50 per person per day, plus the cost of any therapies taken (based on 2 people sharing a double bedroom). Single occupancy may be available at £75.00 per day. Please do call or email if you would like to know more.

Reiki

Reiki is an ancient method of healing by attunement to the Universal Energy. It is gentle, relaxing, and balancing technique, yet it is extremely powerful.

It is a simple, non-intrusive process during which the client remains fully clothed. The practitioner channels the Reiki energy by placing her hands either on the body, or just above it. The energy centres in the body become open to the energy as the client lies on a couch or sits in a chair. Most people experience a deep sense of relaxation and well-being.

Reiki can help with physical, spiritual, or emotional problems bringing strength and support, as it rebalances the bodies energies.

Natural Healing

Natural Healing is similar to Reiki in that it rebalances the energies in the body. In this case the practitioner does not touch the client, but works from a distance of about 18 inches. Some clients prefer this form of healing as it is less intense than Reiki. Because of the gentler healing the client will probably need one or two more sessions to gain the same effect.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage helps to relieve stress and tension by easing the muscles and tendons of the head and shoulders. This technique can help to relieve migraine, tension headaches, muscular aches and strains, and general tension, it can also aid restful sleep.

This is a non-invasive therapy during which the client remains fully clothed, although it might be a good idea to wear an old t-shirt in case any oils which might be used drip onto clothes. The client sits in a chair while the head, neck, and shoulders are massaged. This is a deeply relaxing therapy which will lift you out of the stresses of daily life. The client can also be taught how to give themselves a simple head massage as a way of maintaining good health.

Stress Management & Relaxation

The client is helped to identify the causes of stress in their lives and by discussion is helped to find ways to reduce the stress. Often talking about a problem in a confidential and peaceful situation can bring about the resolution of the problem. Deep relaxation is guided and relaxation techniques are taught so that the client can practice these at any time. Meditation is also used as a tool to achieve a peaceful solution to the problem.

Personal Colour Assessment

Colour affects us in so many ways yet is often ignored or reduced to a fashion statement. With a Personal Assessment the client will find the colours which are most suited to them so that they will look younger and fitter. Wearing the right colours for you will increase your energy and zest for life. The colours which we wear are filters which bring the correct, or, often, incorrect colours into the body, these can than affect your physical or emotional health. In colour assessment we will look at the genetic skin tone of the client and then by viewing the various colours against the skin find the most suitable.

Included in the cost is a fan of colours to help you with shopping and with co-ordinating your wardrobe.
